VIVIANA DURANTE

Artistic Director of English National Ballet School 

She was born in Rome and started ballet aged six at the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma. Spotted by ballerina Galina Samsova, she came to London to join the Royal Ballet School at ten years old.

AGNES NOLTENIUS

Ballet Teacher & Coach for Forsythe ballets

She studies eight years in Paris Opera school , then joins as principal the Ballet du Rhin in Strasbourg where she dances the classical repertory. 

STEFANIE ARNDT 

Prix de Lausanne Teacher, Coach for Forsythe ballets

She was born in Hamburg, Germany, and received her education at the Hamburg Ballet Opera School, under the direction of John Neumeier.

AARON S. WATKIN

Artistic Director Semperoper Ballett Dresden

Born in the Cowichan Valley, British Columbia, Canada, Aaron Sean Watkin graduated from the National Ballet School of Canada in 1988 winning the prestigious Erik Bruhn Award.

LAURENCE LAFFON

Teacher at Paris Opera Ballet School

She start her ballet education in south of France, after in age of 12 years she joined the Paris Opera Ballet School. In 1996 Laurence joined the company of Paris Opera Ballet.

ALEXANDRE KALIBABCHUK

Balletmaster at the State Theater Karsruhe

He start his dance education at State Ballet Academy in Kiew. Since 2006, he is professor for classical dance at the State Academy of dance in Manheim, Germany.

PATRICK RUMP

Director of GJUUM & head of sport science

With a background in Martial Arts competing for the German National Karate Team, Patrick has a particular interest in the application of Sports Science, Sports Medicine and Educational Science.

ELENA VOSTROTINA

Principal Dancer at the Ballet Zurich 

Elena Vostrotina was born in St. Petersburg and trained at the Vaganova Ballet Academy in St. Petersburg and is now currently a Principal Dancer with Ballett Zürich.

Choreographers

Each course, alongside renowned teachers, ART of invites additional first class guests to be involved in the different training and classes. Through their knowledge and experience, they enrich the winter, spring or summer program and offer development opportunities in all possible directions.

DAVID DAWSON

Choreographer

He  is one of the leading dance makers working in classical ballet today. His choreographic style transforms classical ballet in new ways, and his signature works have been praised by critics and audiences worldwide.

GOYO MONTERO

Ballet Director and Choreographer

He was formed by Carmen Roche and completed his studies at the Royal Conservatory for Professional Dance in Madrid and the School of the National Ballet of Cuba.

PONTUS LIDBERG

Ballet Director and Choreographer

He began classical ballet training at the age of four. Pontus Lidberg has a M.F.A. in contemporary performative arts from the University of Gothenburg, Academy of Music and Drama, Sweden.

KINSUN CHAN

Ballet Director and Choreographer

He began his studies in Art and Graphic Design. He made his professional dance debut in America and eventually moved to Europe to perform with the Zürich and Basel Ballet. 

Pianists

ART of invites additional first class ballet pianists to accompany our training and classes. Through their knowledge and experience, they enrich the the way of education process.

Massimiliano Greco

Principal Pianist and Head of Music Department of Acadèmie Princesse Grace

He has been writing music for a long time, and particularly music for choreography and for classical dance lessons.
